Dr. Phil Wolfson is the creator of Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) and director of the Ketamine Research Foundation. In his professional career, Phil has worked with various psychedelic substances such as MDMA and ketamine, developing and advancing scientific research and clinical practice when many psychedelics had not yet been illegalized. After this stage, Phil has continued to research and fight for the inclusion of these substances in the medical field and is undoubtedly one of the people with the most knowledge and experience with ketamine-assisted psychotherapy that currently exists.
Phil was one of the speakers for our Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy training in Barcelona this year (2024), and he agreed to do this interview to tell us a little more about himself. In this relevant interview, Phil Wolfson passionately discusses his vision for integrating ketamine and psychedelic psychotherapy in Europe, emphasizing the need for trained professionals to deliver quality care. Sharing his personal journey from his upbringing in New York to his political awakening and involvement in the psychedelic movement, he highlights the importance of exploring consciousness and liberation. His heartfelt story includes the profound impact of psychotherapy and his dedication to social justice.
One of Phil’s goals is to create an environment where we can learn to live together, with kindness, empathy and affection. This objective is clearly perceived through his words and through his presence. Don’t miss this interview to learn more about Phil and receive this valuable message.
