After the success of the inaugural edition, we are pleased to present the second training proposal in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) organized by the Ketamine Research Foundation and Clinica Synaptica. This year we are incorporating the valuable feedback of the participants of the first edition and we are also expanding the offer of contents with a Level 2 experiential retreat.
Level 1 will again take place in the center of Barcelona and over the course of five days, participants will obtain a complete understanding of ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, including its theoretical foundations, methods of administration and clinical applications. We will delve into the neuroscience of ketamine, its interaction with psychotherapy and its place in the broader landscape of psychodynamic medicine. In addition, special attention will be paid to context and subject matter issues, preparation and integration, and best clinical practice, ensuring a holistic and responsible approach to treatment.
Regarding Level 2, Phil Wolfson, together with the Clinica Synaptica team and with the collaboration of psychotherapist Marc Aixalà, will offer four days of training inspired by the seminars that the Ketamine Research Foundation has organized in the United States over the last decade and that, for the first time, will be held in Europe. On this occasion we will be in the heart of the Montnegre Natural Park, in Can Benet, just over an hour’s drive from Barcelona. This experiential workshop will combine immersive experiences in groups and in pairs, offering the opportunity to live and understand in depth the therapeutic potential of ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. Through holotropic breathing, integrative practices and guided sessions, we will open a safe space to grow professionally, to connect with oneself and to the community.
At the end of the training, participants will acquire theoretical and practical tools to enrich their clinical practice, tailor treatments to individual needs and ensure patient safety and well-being. We invite you to live an immersive and transformative experience that will delve into the therapeutic potential of ketamine-assisted therapy and best practices for its responsible use.
