A nine-day international gathering dedicated to Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), bringing together clinicians, researchers and experienced practitioners for scientific exchange, clinical training and advanced experiential learning.
The program includes the 1st KAP International Association Summit, an introductory clinical workshop, small-group sessions with Phil Wolfson and a post-summit residential training for experienced professionals.

Foundations of Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy with Phil Wolfson & Clínica Synaptica
This introductory-level workshop will take you through the Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) process from start to finish. By the end of the workshop you will know what a typical treatment process is like for a patient doing KAP, and gone through several real-life scenarios of cases we have encountered in our practice. Delivered by Phil Wolfson form the Ketamine Research Foundation and Clínica Synaptica team.

1st KAP International Association Summit
The 1st KAP International Association Summit (16-17-18th October, Hotel Barcelona Center) is an international scientific and clinical meeting dedicated to Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). The event aims to bring together healthcare professionals, researchers, and experienced practitioners to share clinical experience, current research, and emerging perspectives in the field.
The Summit will combine:

Share Your Insights and Research in Barcelona
We invite healthcare professionals, researchers, and practitioners to submit their work for consideration as an Oral Presentation at the upcoming 1st KAP International Association Summit.
This is a unique opportunity to present your findings, case studies, or theoretical developments to a specialized international audience and engage in rigorous interdisciplinary dialogue.
Selection Process & Scientific Committee
All submitted abstracts will undergo a formal peer-review process. The Scientific Committee responsible for the selection is composed of leading experts in the field:

- Clinical Team of Clínica Synaptica
The committee will select a total of 12 presentations (distributed across three themed sessions) based on clinical relevance, scientific rigor, and original contribution to the field of Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy.
Themes & Sessions
Abstracts should align with one of the three core blocks of the Summit:
- Block I: Preparation & Foundations (Screening, set & setting, therapeutic alliance).
- Block II: The KAP Experience (Pharmacology, administration, navigating non-ordinary states).
- Block III: Integration & Systems (Long-term outcomes, habits, and public health implementation).

- Submission Deadline: May 15th

- Format: 15-minute oral presentation followed by a moderated Q&A.
- Language: English.
- Content: Must include Title, Authors, Affiliation, Objectives, Methodology, Results, and Conclusions.

Abstract Submission: Registration Conditions
If your abstract is selected for presentation at the KAP Summit 2026 (limited to 12 presenters), you will be eligible for a special Speaker Registration Rate of €350.
The Abstract Presenter Pass includes:
Full Scientific Program: 3-day access to all plenary sessions, keynote speeches, and expert panels (October 16th, 17th, and 18th).
Speakers’ Welcome Dinner: An exclusive invitation to the Welcome Dinner on Thursday night.
Daily Coffee Breaks: Morning coffee and networking sessions included every day.
Official Certificate: An official certificate confirming your role as an Abstract Presenter (useful for professional accreditation).
Post-Summit Digital Access: Full access to the professional recordings of all streamed sessions, available to watch on-demand after the event.
Important Note:
Networking lunches on Friday and Saturday are not included in this pass. These can be purchased separately as an “add-on” during the registration process on our website.

Following the Summit, participants will be offered the possibility to register for a special advanced residential training with Phil Wolfson, Marc Aixalà, Audra Micalef and Clínica Synaptica staff.
